We worked out an easy way to do Xmas this year.  I bought myself what I wanted (nothing too exotic, we're trying to save money) and then gave it to Abby to wrap up and give to me.  This way I know I'm getting exactly what I want!

Well, getting my new job was the best Christmas present I could have wished for; the only other thing I would like is a cuddle from someone rather nice; I've promised I'll be very good!!

Dave

I'm just waiting (semi) patiently for Tuesday 2nd January, then all this load of complete boll..., erm.... rubbish, is over with for another year

So, no Dave, the first of January bit is immaterial as well.
Though I must say, I'm on a late on 31st Dec (13:30 - 22:00), pity the night-staff   & the scrotes they'll get
Also on late on the 1st, though I might ask one of my collegues if they want a lay-in to recover & bag myself an early (05:30 - 14:00)

Now I thought I was the best wife in the world so maybe you have some competition..hehe
I got hubby a whole series 2a for his birthday this year and a little remote control 90 to play with on days when he couldn't play in the real thing......also allowed him to buy a disco without so much as a "how much is that gonna cost me?" And well I can't really post what I am getting him for christmas as that would spoil the surprise for him but some of it does have the green oval on  :)
I guess rock sliders are pretty good though

I have got a V8 engine as an early present from my good lady  :D

Actually, it went more like this:
I said I'd bought the engine on eBay and Sarah said "I'll pay for it.... saves me looking for a present for you"
