Remove Roof-rack???
« on: December 18, 2005, 21:38:38 »
Hi there, i'm not sure if this is the right place for my question but here goes........ I have a defender 90 hard-top, I am fitting side windows over Christmas (what a christmas present!!) the question is that I have an ARB full length roofrack and was wondering if due to it's weight it should be removed before cutting a big hole in te side of the truck??
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated, thanks

One way of looking at it would be to leave it on, as you don't want to fit the windows, then put the roofrack back on and break the windows  :x

Hi there, had the windows fitted over christmas, didn't remove the roof-rack!  I am so chuffed with them, can't believe how much visability I have, makes me smile when I look over my shoulder!............I expect the novelty will wear off soon.

Anyway thanks for the advice  :D  Am gonna try and upload the photos to my profile
