ask a farmer with a fore-end loader and a steady handmuch stronger than them trolley cranesesp if they own a jcb or a loadall.however i think you can split them and not need to get both out at the same time in that you can split the gb and enigne and get the gearbox out from underneathwould save you a lot of weight in lifting and leverage cos it sticks out a bit
surely if ur breaking the disco it would make sense to get rid of the axles and drop the engine down that way and lift the body away with hi lift jacks that way all the engine and box can stay together or am i talkin rubbish :lol:
I'd better go read the splitting engine from gearbox section of the manual then!Matthew
