Well, the wife's just phoned up from her hotel in Leicester. She set off at 20:00, so as to avoid setting off at 06:00 tomorrow.
She said there are gritters out in force along the M1, & on the main road in to thecity past Fosse Park shopping centre.
So the southerners are in line for something?

About to go out and collect SWMBO from yet another 'works' drink-up, the gritters have been out around here, and the truck is frozen solid but no sign of the fluffy white stuff yet...............

Could do with some of the 'fluffy white stuff', I'm rota'd off work this weekend   & it'd be an excuse to get out of the house.

I've been told in absolutely no uncertain terms not to even offer to do any bank-shifts, or the bits that were 'cut & cauterised' in July will really suffer (again)

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong
