When we were in Sheffield yesterday for the 'CBeebies' show ('Wish Me Luck!')
We passed a pub on the way into the car-parking. I knew about it having seen it before, but forgotten (& no camera)
It's rather quaintly called the 'Noose & Gibbet', it features a dummy in a cage swinging from the gibbet.
They've got some nice customs in Sheffield, pity it can't be re-introduced :x

there is a road in halifax named gibbet street, as this was the traditional location of the town chopper!

however the area is known to be not particularly safe unless you are of tanned complexion, so i shant be taking any pics myself!

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong
