Due to our (still!!) impending house move, to a different one now, I've started the onerous task of sorting out my archive/study/computer room/record collection/den for eventual transport to its new home.

The accompanying photo shows about 40% of the Land Rover related material that is up there.
That figure doesn't include books & brochures. The bags just contain magazines, and there's still 2002, 2003 & 2004 to do yet.

That's before I start on all the non motoring books, and all the other stuff up here.

I think I need a bigger house :D

Well David,  we are going to a much bigger house, but I need even bigger as there's;
'LRO'. Every issue from 1990 (bar a couple in the early '90's), plus quite a few from the '80's.

'LRW'. Every issue from #1 including the 'taster' from Of-Road & 4Wheel Drive' magazine.

'LRM'. Every issue apart from #1

'LRE'. Every issue from #1

And that's just the LR magazines. There's brochures going back to the mid '70's. Plus numerous books.

Then there's lots of (all to bag);
'Practical Classics'
'Dalesman'
'Classic & Sportscar'
'Autocar'
'Motor'
'Car'
'Street Machine' & 'Custom Car' (all from the days of yore, early '80's)

Then I'll start on the photo-albums/records/CD's........... :roll:

(and then the garage & cellar :roll:  :roll: )

Richard,

You could always put them in your local Doctors waiting room, they'd still be there in the next millenium and you could pop in every now and then for any info you might need.

BTM,

You could probably build yourself an extension out of that little lot just to house the next decades worth !!

Don't ask the wife that question, she'd freely give both away today.

BTM

My missus says the dog can come and live here but you're not coming. You'd bring those magazines and we'd have two lots to contend with.

I misread your message and was about to offer you LRE Issue #1 but you've got that one. I haven't got a spare #1 of LRM.

All LR magazines & brochures, bookshelves cleared.
Just the 'Dalesman', LP's & CD's to box up now.

The next step will be dis-assembly of the bookcases, as there's no-way they'll go down a spiral staircase.

Then I'll start on the cellar (having a 'cold-sweat' thinking about it)

All got to be ready to go on Friday May 14th (all being well....)

From the village we're in to a small town a few miles south east of where we are.
We're about 2miles from jct 30 on the M62, & going near to jct 31.

It's a big Victorian semi, built in 1899, with lots of original features
