Ode to mud-club - reposted

First posting of this fell foul of the forum fairy who removed it.

I was bored this morning at 4am as one of my kids woke me up, so wrote this.

There is a 4x4 called a landy
that gets plastered with mud and gets sandy
but If your suspension goes clang
or your engine goes bang
Join the Mud-Club cos its bloody handy.

I never write ditty's if I wake at 4am! :shock:

So how long did it take to write it? :)  Did you get back to sleep afterwards? :)  Did you have a sense of satisfaction afterwards? :D

I write these all the time, I actually wrote a longer one but its not a ditty and its not quite finished.

The one above took me 2 minutes to write.

No I stayed up afterwards as my 5 year old wouldn't go back to sleep  :x

Get as much sleep in as you can   If the little 'un is that excited before Christmas morning I can see a 2am start for you after Santa's called  :lol:

Only 1 out of 5 children though.  I have a feeling 5 kids up at 2am is really going to set me up for the day.

I'm hoping ours are up early. I've won the Early shift (7am start) so wunner see their little faces light up otherwise.

Love the ode........I wish my kids didn't get up early.......O hang on they don't it's their dad that wakes them at 2a.m to open his pressies!!! :x This year I am going to bind and gag him so he can't disturb any of us  :twisted:
