Does anyone know about the details of fitting a new exhaust, never done one before and mine arrived in the mail today. It looks simple enough but as with most things defender, looks can be very deceptive. Is it likely that places like quick fit will stock the rubber mounts as the exhaust didd'nt come with them? Also I know the manifold bolts should be brass, but is this recommended for all the connections? If so what size are they for a 300TDi? Finally do I need to use some exhaust sealant at the joins or should they be self sealing?
Hopefully the pipe will be fitted tomorrow!!!
