Quite an interesting episode.
The regeneration was rather drawn out & not over in a jiffy like the olden days.
Still quite a cheeky Doctor. nice to see Harriet Jones as PM.

Anyone notice the quip to Rose; "Tell me, I'm not ginger am I??" :lol:  :lol:

Mmmm :?
Wonder if we can try the
'Don't You Think He Looks Tired? routine on Blair? :wink:

Saw the new Doctor tonight, not sure about him yet but I'm sure he will be OK once I'v seen him a few times.

Got to admit though my favourite was Tom Baker in the 70's.

I gave a titter when he said he hoped he wasn't ginger :lol:

The shape of the Christmas tree on the wall was novel.

Nice to see the return of K9 and the Cybermen in the spring.

Chris Ecclestone was the best, he was quick and hyperactive!!  Thats what made him good, i think David Tennant will be good as well though as he has excelled in other stuff he has done.

Tom Baker's scarves were there.

if it came to that I could use the TV tuner on the PC, but I was (and am) forced to stay in the same room and watch what everyone else is watching, otherwise I get told off "why can't we all be in the same room on christmas day?" ...

<sigh>

Well, the boss got a DVD recorder for christmas, so I'm hoping he recorded it like I told him to :)

I think Ecclestone was one of the best doctors since Tom Baker (who was excellent), the man's a fool to walk away from it so quickly.

Here's hoping the 'new guy' stays with it a while, he's got that cheeky irreverance of all the best doctors, plus a viscious streak that makes him interesting.  Well done I say, each new actor has the unenviable task of making the character their own, as good start though I think.
