Anybody else on this wonderful network having probs on emails?

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

A rumour is that they have been working on their system, looks like they managed to put wrong what was right

I use NTL  :( they are in the middle of an upgrade, again.... the last time they upgraded, they had similar problems.... it will catch up eventually. :evil:

now here is an odd one for you, couple of weeks ago, i installed a new access point, i entered my account details and it would not connect, removed the account details and left all blank, and it connected  :?: working fine still.

Have you just tried powering OFF and ON your NTL modem/router ? (you can tell i work in IT, it takes years of training to learn that one  :twisted: )

Seems like I'm not the only one, my mate has not had any emails though for a week now

I installed their new security software package, when I get back in later I'll dump it out again, see if that makes a difference, although it had been working for a week with the software before it decided not to, hotmail still working ok though, both accounts going through outlook express
