Exploring in the snow
« on: December 28, 2005, 17:46:57 »
Decided I had had enough sitting around at home eating, so took the hybrid out for a spin this afternoon. Managed to find a couple of lanes that had not been driven since the snowfall, not deep, but enough to cover all the rocks and pot holes making for a rather bumpy ride. I stuck to lanes I knew to be solid as being alone I did not want to get stuck (scuse the pun).

Graet fun.

Mike

We don't have any here in Wales either. We have only had 6 -7 days with snow so far this winter.

It's -7C at the moment. Brrrr. Reminds me of the 'walk in' freezer advert for Smirnoff

Its Bowes lane off the Tan hill / Langthwaite road. I dropped in at the Tan Hill for a pint whilst I was up there. Cosidered driving up to high Freminghton on the way back to take a few pictures from Fremington edge but decided better of it.

Took this one on the way home though.

Mike. Got to agree with Jake, the Tan Hill image is superlative.
Well done.
