I got the DVD last year (2005, Mmmmmm a little premature), great inspirational program, recommend viewing it to all,  If only we all had the time, money and expertise?

If my project comes in looking 1/4 as good I will be pleased.

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

Just spent all afternoon watching it, very good result - some of the editing seemed a little 'abrupt' in places though !

As has already been said - money, money, money, money........

Nice truck , i got the dvd as well . I couldnt help feeling he could have done so much more. The engine nice to look at but pretty much what is in a million others, I have one and its not brilliant when you get it wet.
I cried with laughter when he couldnt work out why the tyre hit the shock...had to phone Scorpion(who he refused to name!)
why did he put modulars on it???Surely he could have stretched to a nice set of mach 5's with the correct offset!
I would have built it in a king cab style with some storage behind the seats..would have made it different and a nice touch.I had buckets in my series and as soon as i saw them i said he will have no leg room...spooky. Plus what on earth was he thinking bolting the seat to a peice of 5bar ally..It will never fasten down correctly and isnt strong enough.
Maybe if i get 6 numbers....

:(biggrin): It was on the Scorpion stand at a few shows last year - perks of the job  ; I only drove it a little way (didn't get out of 2nd) but it's a really well-built vehicle, and that V8 is just...
aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Sorry, V8's just have that effect on me- you know what I'm sayin' guys!!

and I thought the series was really well-produced; he may have had a well-equipped workshop at his disposal, but he (and we, the audience) learned how everything was done; I found the whole series a massive inspiration!!  :(biggrin):
