Due to my advancing age & it being almost 31/2 years since I sold my 90CSW-V8, can someone tell me where the indicator relay is.

Is it alongside the fuses (centre panel below dash), or is it one of the couple(?) adjoining the ECU under the seat?

What the under-seat relays by the way??

Centre Panel in dash I believe, give me 5 min, and I'll go and check.

Right mine has 5 yellow relays in the centre dash pos, however these relate to all sorts of things like heated seats, windscreen etc. and I suspect are different from yours. It it is definitely different from the pictures I have which are for a 99, which is what I believe yours is.

In which case it should be the second from the left in the centre dash. When you undo the cover it should be labelled on the back of the cover, mine are.

also be aware that if it is anything like the pre td5 wiring the hazard switch is an important part of the indicator circuit

Sorry I ought have added that, I ask as the 12N trailer supply socket is totally kaput & I might start 'from source' when I sort it out.

On mine atleast it's a standard plug in harness, which is only about 18" long. Which reminds me mine needs replacing.

I assume that the 12N kit fitted to mine will be the LR harness that just plugs into the female socket behind the off-side internal light cover, as the socket itself is a LR branded item.

I was just thinking 'worst case scenario', if someone has 'bodged it' & hooked in at the fuse-box for some unknown reason.

'Trailer Tell-Tale' works on dash, in conjunction with hazards & a single flash upon indicating, so the relay itself is (presumably)okay.

3 days off now, so it'll have to be added to the 'To Do' list, after the vets tomorrow & the DVLA office

That's the beast, it's a standard replacement part from LR, mine is somewhat flatter than it should be, don't know how that happened :oops:

I sorted the 12N socket out this afternoon, if only to take my mind off 'other things' :cry: (same reason as I'm on here at the moment)

The worst problem was getting the old socket off, for some silly reason I couldn't find a HSS bit big enough to drill out the Phillips screw heads.

So out with the pliers & hacksaw.
Twenty minutes later it was laying in about 10 bits.

As usual the wiring was a mess, all corroded & a sodden socket interior.
So I've taken the chance on the corrosion not being too far advanced into the supply cabling & simply cut back slightly & replaced the socket with a new one, & copper-greased the bolts this time.

Now I can get all the rubbish from the past 2 weeks with no binmen in the I-W & off to the tip
(& have some lights on the way)
