Interference on CB
« on: January 04, 2006, 18:34:00 »
Hi

Can you help, having interference on the CB when driving, think it's the Alternator?  Is it still possible to fit a Suppressor/filter.  Asked Maplins & local CB shop, Nevada and they dont do them any more.

Alternators normally are already fitted with suppressors.  What sort of interference is it.  Normally Alternator interference is a whistle which gets higher in pitch as engine revs increase.

That sounds like it?  Whistle or whine and increases with engine rev's
