'Blue Plaques' In Yorkshire
« on: April 16, 2004, 17:08:27 »
- With Particular Relevance To West Yorkshire-

I'm trying to compile a photographic listing on my 'WebShots' of the Blue Plaques that you may have seen on various buildings in your area.

These are normally presented/mounted in memory of a particular person who was born/lived in/worked in the building concerned, or an event/invention/business that took place there.

If anyone is out & about in Yorkshire, could they please photograph the plaque (& one of the building) then e-mail it to me, please also give a location (street/town)

I'm particularly interested in architectural/industrial/engineering inventions reasons for the plaque.

Some images you send might not be useable for whatever reason, I'll apologise for that now.

Thanking you in advance.
