Hi,

I have not bothered to renew the following domains recently so the may be up for grabs

landrover.me.uk
freelander.me.uk
ninety.me.uk
110.me.uk
rangerover.me.uk

some of these renewals expired last week so if you fancy one they may be available, probalbly the more computer literate among you know more about these things than me.

You might be pleased to hear this Philip but landrover and 110.me.uk are still registered to you until 2006.

I didn't say he couldn't transfer them.
He implied they had or were about to run out and then wouldn't be his to transfer.

Hi

I have also not renewed   mud.me.uk so this is available
( or at least I no longer have it )
but have kept offroad.me.uk

when domains are not renewed is there a general notification so that others know immediately what has not been renewed and grab them ?
Computer Buffs  enlighten me !!!

Hi,
It seems there must be a period of grace because although I have several domains which expired last week they are still asking me to renew them and so I presume they are not released,
I don't know whether you can preorder in anticipation or not.
And I don't know how long the option is kept open after expiry date.
I always presumed if you didn't renew before the expiry date they were automatically on the available search list.

Not being an expert on these things

It might help the changeover if we knew who (the internet company/ISP/whoever) was hosting/holding the name at the moment. This will of course be the ones who are asking you to renew :)
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

Are you sure you didn't buy them for different periods - some registry services give different standard registration periods for different types of domain.  I think I used to get .coms for 1 year, .co.uk for 2 years as standard, or something like that.
