Exhaust tone?
« on: January 10, 2006, 20:58:01 »
At Keith Gotts today and one of there mechanics had a 3.5 V8 90 and it sounded the puppy's nuts?  Just sounded so throaty, noisy but good.  I was told that i would not be able to do this with mine as it would fail emmisions without the CAT.

apparently it has no baffles tho, Just mid box and then 300 TDI rear box.

any idea how i can get a V8 Disco to sound as good without failing emmisions?

Anyone done this?

Sony speakers and a tone generator

Seriously, each make of performance exhaust has its own unique tone. Im still standard on the Disco, but on my Metro racing days I had a Peco BB4 :) Awesome sound for miles around :)

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
