Conversation I had on the phone today:
man on other end: "Good afternoon, Adrian flux Insurance"
me: "Oh hello. Earlier today I re-insured my Land Rover with you, but a  friend has since told me that I should be able to get a lower premium if I am a member of a club"
man on other end: "Which club is it ,sir?"
me: " Mud Club"
man on other end: " Just hold one moment while I check your policy................................
.......................
"no problem sir, we'll refund £25 to your credit card"
 me: :shock: ......... :D
Blimey, that was easy! Good old mud club, good old Adrian Flux, whoever he is!

was insured with them but im not anymore. £513 against 206 from roadsure...not much contest really! You have to be a member of a club for the roadsure cover..i quoted NCGL but could easily have said mudclub all they need is your membership no....

They covered me for the same premium as the Discovery (no extra, runs till October)

of course, what Aidrian Flux probably failed ot mention is that they charge £25 for changes to your policy.........


I got about £50 discount for being a member of Disco Owners Club

I was surprised that they didn't want more money out of mewhen I changed the registration plate details!!

Not too sure how much I got off for DOC membership :? (£297 renewal last October)

Hmm...just had the policy through the post, but they want proof of membership. No problem, I'll print out my profile page. Looks good showing joined date and membership number, apart from one thing - it doesn't show my name! [questionable thing].  :? Perhaps Muddyweb can help here?
