salisbury or disco axle?
« on: January 11, 2006, 10:13:46 »
Which should i fit on my 90 4.2 v8 running 35" simex as the rear axle breaks to often even it i take it easy. A  disco 24 spline disc breaked axle or a salisbury drum breaked . I only use this 90 for off roading.

i find drums arent as good when they get mud/water in the drums! I have been really impressed with my disc braked rear axle.

get a salsbury disc axle

ive got a drum braked salsbury on the back of my racer & its the danglies, can blow the front axle & still keep going giving just as hard, theres a few mods u can do to the brakes to keep them tiptop so it stands on its nose
