It depends what you're gonna use it for.
If you're doing any sort of off roading, a winch is a real asset.
If its just a school runner, then I wouldn't bother.

Lucky guy.
I may have a winch for sale soon, it all works fine but it looks a bit of a dog. Not really suitable for a 50th me thinks!!

Lucky Buggar... at 16 I'm having to buy my own Landie, and it's nowhere near as good as either of them.

Hi Matty, The Missus has a Freelander, at the moment I drive a series 3 Safari Station Wagon, but my baby is the Defender I'm rebuilding. Its an E reg 90 with......

galv. chassis
galv. bulkhead
300 axles
300 tdi engine
R380 gearbox
Mach 5 wheels
BFG tyres
Straight thru' sidepipe exhaust
2" lift with pro comps

there's probably more but I can't remember!!!

Always been into 'em.
I remember all my mates were into "fast" cars but all I wanted was a Lightweight. & that was my first Landie. Since then I've had a 110 Hardtop, a ser 1 Disco, an "E reg 90", a 300tdi 110 CSW, a Classic Range Rover 300tdi (soft dash), a V8 Classic Rangie, a petrol Freelander (the wifes) & a Series 3.
