Does anyone know, anything about the Venture cam for the Range Rover?,

Like can a wireless Laptop pick up the signal from the camera?,  what sort of range does it have?, does it support sound.

Cheers.

Now let me think about this one. Why on earth would a car with privacy glass need a wireless camcorder to "record your landrover adventures"?
Hmmmm. One word. Footballers.

dont know about venture cam, but i have seen pen stick cameras, albeit with a wire connection, that would do the same job linked to a lap-top.
www.sports-camera.com aparently. never used one, but seen the result, and very good.

Well we played with a broadcast quality webcam with a radio range of 1500yds and was way smaller than a 10-deck - and this was 5 years ago.

What I have read about the Range Rover's camera thing, is it is basically a wireless webcam which sticks onto the bodywork.  That simple.
