now tell me boys and girls what would you do if you bought a motor off somebody and then you cant get back in touch with them as they dont answer the phone ,pms or emails to see if you can have the log book and the mot seeing they forgot to bring it with them and dont have there address only thing I do know is they are a member on here and live a bit more south than me .
know we shouldn't have got it with out docs but he brought it up and needed the empty trailer
give me a clue???

most internet providers have full details for their users...have a look you may just get their address. A personal visit might be in order. You never know they may be on holiday or have had a family crisis but i wouldnt be happy...how do you know its not nicked?
If you are reading this and its you, get in touch like a nice chap. Have you kept an eye on the visitors log? Have they been on? Be interesting to know

how do you check the visitors log and if thats the best you can nick then theres no hope no he seemed alright thats why I,v given him the benifit of dought as he does work away but all it needs is posting and you can answer the phone

:D if it was me i would ask very politley on this site if he could get in touch with you asap leave some details that only you and he might know also i would ring dvla im sure they can give you some feedback on what to do cos if it is stolen then someone is gonna be missing a truck :shock:

By law the old owner has to post the log book off or they get a fine!! So he may have done this!
