Went for a drive on my Birthday
« on: January 17, 2006, 17:00:07 »
Hello! I decided to go for a drive and a walk today, to celebrate my birthday. I filled up with fuel and pointed the car in a direction and drove. Sadly my birthday curse struck (you know the one - I'm sure it's on this forum somewhere) - and a pheasant took out the nearside wing mirror on Owl!

Hey ho...anyway, in true BTM style - can you tell me where I went?

Extra points if you can tell me where I stopped for coffee ;-)

Well with sheep, hills and water it could have been Wales?

Can't work out where you went Neil, but a tank of gas for Owl, and a new wing mirror is gonna work out to be an expensive Birthday drive....

Many Happy Returns,

I don't know where you went but lets get the most important question answered first, forget the wing mirror on owl and the hole in Neils pocket (BROWNLEE take your hands out your pockets and stop playing snooker boy!!!!).
IS THE PHEASANT OK?????
And if it sadly pasted away did you get a second one so you had a brace?

Well..... the image number 0034 looks suspiciously like Saddleback/Blencathra.
So I reckon back up 'home'

Well I think you went to Pen Y Fan (junction 36 m4) and stopped off at the mountain centre for a cup of coffee. I am guessing the first photo down is the same memorial as the one you saw???? http://www.westernbeacons.org.uk/pages/teaminfo.html

I cant see any by ways around there though but theres nothing saying you did go on byways with Owl.

Happy birthday
