As some of you may remember i got myself a nice HD bumper for the back of my disco, then when it arrived it didnt fit  :evil:  see http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=6189&view=next

Well my HD bumper for my rangie arrived yesterday  :D  so out this morning to fit it

you can guess where this is going cant you

it bloody well doesnt fit, its not even close  :evil:  

why cant people make these things and make them right  :x


Not naming any names as i've phoned them and they are going to get back to me and the service so far has been good

You seam to have problems with rear bumpers Steve
I hope you get it sorted out soon.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the Tdi beast!

It's probably due to landrovers build tollerances rather than the aftermarket gear.

normally i'd agree but its the chassis would need some SERIOUS adjustment to get this thing to fit  :evil:

Where did you get it?

I had one made by Mill Services for my old RRC and trying to get it to fit my new RRC was a nightmare. As said its LR build quality.

LC 80 series 1993. 285/75/16s Cooper STTs, OME 850s on the front with 25mm packer, 868s on the rear. 4.88 diffs. Winch bumper with 12000lb winch. Factory lockers. HD rear bumper with wheel carrier and winch mount.

Is the chassis back end that different on concealed hinge classics than the older ones?
