Mill services rock sliders.
« on: January 21, 2006, 18:25:52 »
I just got my new heavy duty rock sliders and went to fit them onto the bare chassis.  Mmmmmmmm  no instructions.  The chassis is a 110 with only the two outriggers.  Anyone had a set of these?

Can some kind sole give me a clue please.

Photos or diagrams would be great.

Thanks.

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

That will be my job for Monday, just hoping that someone would be able to help tonight so I can get them on sooner rather than later.

When I ordered my bars/sliders a couple of weeks ago, Richard asked which version of 110 they were going on - apparently, the hard top chassis only has two chassis outriggers, whereas the station wagons have 3 - hence my post of a few days ago, asking if anyone knew the part number for the third outrigger, as Richard advises fitting it if you want to jack the truck up using the sliders.

Still waiting for my sliders to arrive, so I can't give any advice on fitting them.

we have a CSW - only 2 outriggers are used

use the one below the B pillar, and the one behind it (under rear seats on a CSW)

the front of the slider goes on the end of the bulkhead bolt.

contact richard from mill - extremely helpful bloke  :D

Bit late with this maybe. Had a hectic day.  I contacted Richard and he said instructions should have been with them. But you can phone him on 01948710747 if you still require any advice.
