hmm a bit disapointing really.
The previous races have been brilliant, with an entire episode dedicated to the building of the machines and the passing of MOT/Special Vehicle thingy.
This time they just gave them a vehicle each, albeit very different kinds of vehicles.
Also, the editing of the actual race was rubbish, they gave the impression that the maximus team had spent ages getting their cat down and tree cut and that they were at risk of losing their lead. But the final time puts the closest team 42 minutes behind, barely 13 minutes were lost, not the dramatic ending they suggested

and as a tree surgeon i was whincing as they felled the tree on top of there camper van ! :shock:

I was looking at all the poor electronic equipment getting rained on...Yeh thats a good idea lets just leave the mig uncovered in the rain.....LIKE DURR..... Whats they going to do in a storm....I think they need a roof over there heads....

I gave up watching Scrapheap before the last series even aired. The competitions are getting very 'samey' and the builds not so interesting. This used to be a great series, but now I find it tedious. Sorry to have had a short rant, had that on my chest for a while!
