would i be correct in thinking that vented disc brakes are drilled all the way through and non vented only part drilled regards colin can anyone confirm this for me if possible got to get the correct brake pads  :roll:

Vented discs have two braking faces and a series of vents in between, in the gap between the two braking faces.

Plain discs can be cross-drilled or grooved and have no gap between the braking faces.

vented are like two discs connected together with a cavity between them(wider than non vented.

drilled is completly different
