yes you can and i have just watch the ratios though or you may end up
having an adverse effect on youre gearing.
and you need to change the selector lever and possably one of the mounts
and on my hybrid i needed to change the front prop as well
due to the front output flanges bieng shifted about an inch if i remember
though you may not have a problem
so make sure you have all these parts to hand before you start.

think i will need to get a new input gear, front prop, gearbox mounts, chassis mounts to recive the gearbox mounts & a new chassis cross member to replace the existing combined cross member/ gear box mount :?

As oours was converted the other way I'm sure it can be done.  Not heard about the prop being a different length though :?  and the B-W was fitted to both 3.5 and 3.9 cars with the 2 different styles of X-Member.

Yes you can swop the BW for a lt230.
You need the Front Prop & RH Gearbox mount from a 3.5 lt230.

You also have to mix and match bits of the Hand Brake and high low lever linkage. The more bits you have from both boxes the better the options to get the Hand Brake and H/L lever sorted.
