I am looking to get a second Landy when i have sold me house .

How do you lot get on with owning multipul Landys and how do you insure the Landys so you can jump in any of what you own and legally drive them?

I only know one which is a bit naughty its Putting the Second Landy in the misses name and then under fully comp you may drive any Motor with the owners permision..

Is their insurance that covers multipull Motors??

You can take a second policy out fairly cheaply on a classic limited mileage policy, you will need a normal full one though to show as a main vehicle use, thats what I do, not too bad on price

I have a disco and hybrid both on the road now, the price was not too bad really overall

'91 stretch Discovery 200 Tdi
Hybrid for running round (got to go now)
Srs 3 Lightweight petrol (got to go)
Srs 3 Lightweight petrol, runabout

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

Same here, I have a Fiesta for work etc, and the 110 for everything else. The 110 is on a limited mileage policy.
Both vehicles are insured with Zurich. Off the top of my head I think I pay £650 for the fiesta and £300 for the landy, with 3 Years NCB.

The fiesta's on the steep side because I’m 20 and insurance companies don't like young people in small cars :(

Insuring multiple landys isnt too bad. Im only 18 but insure both a Defender 90 N/A and a Series 2A. Think the series is about 300 and the Defender is just below 1000. However, getting a trials rangie soon and want to make that road legal and should only be 800 with the mothers name as the main driver :) hope this helps,

I use www.greenlightinsurance.com and have the 200tdi insured on a second vehicle policy,
Give them a ring and ask for Barry Scott he's a member of MC and works for them.

He did me a real good deal with all my modifacations listed. :D

I've done that over the years but I was told by a recent insurer that it only covers you to drive vehicles that aren't part of the same household!

Worth checking the small print of your policy

The other one on that line is that the main driver is the one that has the insurance taken out in his name, trying to sort out another policy for my fathers car for me to drive for him, he was going to do it in his name, but found out his licence had expired. So still looking at which way to go with this at the mo
