BTM, I'm unclear from your post what it is you're looking for, It may be worth ringing up and asking to find out for sure.
A large shackle that fits snugly between the inner faces of the Dixon-Bate framework (on the securing pin) would be ideal
Why not get a second slider with a pin hitch on?Paul
I've got a Southdown + tow kit ... but leave one of the mounting pins in! Ideal for recovery :)

Do you know a Blacksmith that would knock up something similar to this?
