:)  :) Just imagine if Mr Honda or Mr Toyota bought the patent rights to the old style Disco and worked their magic on the insides of the car...what a wonderful,complete vehicle they could produce...I would sell my soul to the Devil to own such a beast...or well, keep dreaming :o  :o

Probably a tasteless, soulless plastic jungle with spares prices that shock even Land Rover main dealers.

And the switches would be too fiddly.
