If money was no object...
« on: February 04, 2006, 14:34:35 »
What vehicle would you have?
i.e if you won the lottery
(i keep my fingers crossed for the Euromillions  [-o< )

Personally, I'd buy a brand new D3 and drop it off at Devon 4x4 and ask for it to be prepared for competition.
I'd pick it up again a couple of months later.
Hopefully it'll have been bob'd, lifted, 36" Simex, winches front and back and totally bespoke bumpers and protection, cage and all the toys a comp motor should have.
I think the total project would cost in the region of 100k
Thats the off roader sorted.

Now for a Range Rover Sport. Which i'd hand to Overfinch.

Well, i can dream cant i?

1. A Camel Trophy S3
2. Disco 1 V8 to do up as a Personal Off Roader
3. Bowler Straycat (See March's LRW)
4. Audi RS6 Avant.

That'd do I think.

I'd have to break the habit of a lifetime & buy a lottery ticket, but here goes;

AC Cobra 427SC (still a car not to be ignored in terms of performance)

1969 Dodge Charger 440R/T (orange, what other colour  )

1970 Dodge Challenger 426 'Hemi' (the 'Vanishing Point 'car)

1968 Ford Mustang GT390 (the 'Bullitt' Mustang)

Bentley Continental 'T' (or an Arnage)

Ford model B ('Deuce Coupe', like John Milners in 'American Graffiti')

Thorneycroft Antar

Rotinoff Atlantic

101 FC (but coil-sprung, 130 axles, higher geared & a GMC V8 diesel)

'Renown' (Fowler #15653)

Jaguar XJR (V8 supercharged, for 'wafting about')

Ducati 916 (the epitome of 2-wheeled art)
I've just got to have 'Little & Large'

And at least 10 B*W's to systematically destroy in any way I think of

I'd buy the three houses opposite my m8, the two next to him and the three behind them and then rent them out to Indians.

That just might teach him to accept that there are good and bad in all races and he might just stop being so blinkered!

Then I'd turn off the heating and go down the pub.  I'd leave the wife an extra jumper so she didn't get cold though .... I'm not cruel!

Hee hee, I like your style!! :(biglaugh):
My money no object vehicle would be a Bowler Wildcat. I'd also buy a nice bit of land (Kirton Lindsey quarry) and some houses for my mates to live in, a nice house for me, and I'd spend some of my millions building hospitals and schools in Africa, oh, I'd probably cut to part-time working hours too :(contented):

I'd go for an extremely tricked up Ibex for a challenge motor, a Bowler for the road, a zuk for trialling (probably a Jimny   ), and some form of fast car, probably an Aston.
