had a great day at work today, first off a rangie sport popped in to get sported a bit more  ,after that had been finished off i had the joys of working on a restored Series 2 lomax ambulance,i know the people who restored it & if they saw it now they would either cry or lamp the owner,& to finish of the day had a customer drop off a landcruiser VX that had just rolled out the container from Oz so has queensland plates, big ARB bumper, winch etc & twin spare wheels, got some pictures but digi cam is still at work,it went for an SVA test & failed on the bumpers   so now have to swap the bumpers from a standard Vx so this one can pass its SVA test, had a look round & its got LOADS of bolts holding the toys on

the guy spent 3 years restoring it IE chassis off & everthing got redone & tatrted up,it now looks like a heap, all of 1 side is wrecked, scraped down a wall & did in front wing, pas door, complete side of the ambulance body & ripped the hinges off the back door, also the interior is bogging, makes me boak thinking about it

what a shame. someone spent time love and loads of money to restore it and then they go and trash it.

I was at an off road site last year and there was a fabulous example of a landy and someone had been given it and they just drove round and destroyed it really like driving into trees and things. apparantley so someone said all they went there for was to kill it. what a waste.
