We looked at each other this morning when they were discussing pin and chip cards on the news and we said "Oh, it's the 14th today!!".

So, since we both forgot, I guess I got away with it

First valentines as a married man :)  We don't go to a lot of effort on valentines, one of us is normally ill so we always wait a a day or two, then book somewhere nice when the rush has gone, we like our privacy!

You may laugh about the Tesco card.

I got one from Asda.

The grand sum of 8p

Sent myself a more expensive one and posted it in Derbys when I went to the 4x4 show at Donington.

My wife once gave me a valentine card in the morning first think having post one unsigned the day before.
Then sent me to the front door to collect the mail to see if I told her about the one I got through the post.
If you think about it I am going to get GBH of the ears if I tell her about it or if I don't.
Sometimes I really miss the uncertainty of being married

oh dear,

We don't bother in this house... it's much nicer when it's not planned !

I did have to laugh last night when I went shopping at Tesco at about 5pm all the men coming in in there work clothes and big boots buy cards and flower... looking rather worried because there weren't many left.

what was really funny was the fact Tescos had a hole section of cards, flowersand  teddies further in the store which was empty ;o)
