Is it just my mind playing tricks or have i seen somewhere a company selling a swing away spare wheel carrier for a RRC.
I am sure i have seen one but cannot remember where.
Please can someone confirm whether or not i am actually going daft or not........... [-o<

Yes they are for sale, I use to have one and bent it off roading so removed it. As from where I carnt remember sorry.
They are about £150.

They are made near here, not that I'm a big fan. You need to drill through the rear quarter and the whole thing is held by a spring loaded pin so rattles back and forth a little. Keep meaning to make my own (along with so many other things).

saw a rr at donny the other weekend with one on and it looked c**p it hid the n/s back lights and reg plate. dont like them plus in a car park you have to try and find room to move it out of the way when you want to open the back door. But this is just my opinion and other opinions are avalible :D

Bin the spare and fit some of that self-healing slime (lots of LPG installer stock it) it claims it can seal a hole up to 6mm diameter. I wouldn't want to drive on a tyre with
THAT
hole in it for long but it would get you home.

I have a pivlock one fitted to my bobtail- the petrol tank is in whats left of the boot. It is bolted into the rear quarter panel and also the locating bracket is screwed into the lower tail gate.
