thats something I have and want to do one day. Not wear the short skirt and top. I have already done that for fancy dress and the females loved it :D

Which company did you use? Was it Big Wheelers by any chance?

Good luck and let us know how you got on.

What did you have to do to prep for the test? I am guessing you needed a medical for the provisional (done 1 already for PCV (minibusses)), hazard perp' test, and drive. anything else?

Also may I be cheaky and ask a rough cost it has added up for the lessons. They are the killer and did you have 2 or 3 hours at a time or did you have too do days?

Thanks for all your messages of support
had the test this afternoon and PASSED once i got over the nerves it all went well. So i can now drive any Category C vehicle (any rigid vehicle)  Crack on now and do the next part C + E (artics)  asap, before i get into too many bad habbits.
I didnt resort to wearing the short skirt, although it did cross my mind! Good job really my examiner was a lady!

thanks again
steve

Welcome to the whacky drivers club. If you step to the back of the room, we'll teach you the secret handshake and we'll let you get drinks for all of us :D

Are you planning to start working as a driver right away? If so, check here:

When I got my licence, I went to them with my pass certificate and the following day I was driving for one of their customers.

Thanks for that.

I'll be carrying on with the day job at the moment, trying to pick up a bit of work maybe weekends and the odd evening, see what comes along.

Hopefully a contact i have been given will come up with some.

But i can see before too long driving full time
