Why are some people so nasty and think other peoples mis fortune is funny?

I was dropped off today at the first house on the round I was on and waited on me bike to cross the road to the 2nd house. There was a stream of water flowing down the road by the kerb and no other cars around and someone thought it would be really funny to drive through it and make me soaked. Yes I know it was raining but the rain doesnt go through all the layers of clothes in seconds.

I really do wish people would go AROUND puddles when there are people on the pavement waiting to cross. Fair enough if the road is busy but it wasnt today! ARGH

If you've remembered their number, you can actually get them prosecuted for driving without due care and attention.

Yep, it's illegal to soak another road user. IIRC there was thread on here sometime back that a driver had been successfully done for just such a thing.

Probably doesn't help you feel any better though.

cheers

Tride to get his number but by the time I thought of it he was round the corner.

3 poxy hours I spent in the rain soaking wet delivering peoples mail. I even got one old bag saying "they want to leave" as I had parked my bike against their gate post when her friends were leaving. I just replied back saying "I'm just delivering your mail!" How long did she think I was stopping for? She held her hand out right by me as well whilst I flicked through her mail.

Wish I was allowed to say "oops sorry I will go then and not deliver your mail today"

Anyway. moan over for today!

If you have a mate taking a photo of you going through a ford where the water is going over the bonnet and they are stupid enough to stand at the waters edge then yes it is fun to drown them and it deserves them right (I did that on sunday last week   ) but come on. Not to do it to your friendly postie?

Depends how 'friendly' he is!!  lol

Actually its more fun to do it to spotty kids hanging around!  Rather than some poor [!Expletive Deleted!] who cannot nip home to get changed!  I might be evil - but I aint that evil!!
