I need some software to fax a scanned document ??

Is there something out there for free :lol:

If you have Windows XP then you have the facility to send and receive Faxes. You just need to set it up.


Start
Control panel
Printer and other hardware
Printers and faxes
Top left of screen hit Set up faxing

What format is the scanned document, a tif? Would it work if you converted it to a pdf?

outlook has fax facilities im sure of it

but you are gonna be stuck unless you have a dialup modem! ;)

Darren

The XP fax tool should work like a printer.  Open the file in the scanner program and select print. Then you should have the option to print to microsoft fax

You can mail it to me and I'll fax it on my (conventional) fax machine here if it helps?

Remember to run the Fax Wizard and tick the box to allow sending a fax and other 'important' things I can't remember off the top of my head.
