looks like i will be racing you to briercliffe next time then miniman, maybe you will be faster cos series i think are lighter than 90's, oh well i will just beat you in the corners lol. what condition is the new engine in?

It smokes a bit but passed a MOT. Going to re ring it new valve seals and guides also going to re shell it...... New oil seals all round and all that s**t..... Looking for a turbo and manifold cheep if you know anybody mate...... Will still be faster tho...lol

Nice 1, don't know anyone with a turbo, mine had a new turbo fitted from when my mate had it, it cost £400. You doing the engine yourself, mine was rebuilt a while ago and cost £1700 glad i didn't have to pay that bill.

Yeh will be starting it today. Off to garage with it and get on with it. May be ready in 2 weeks. All down to money but then is'nt it always. New oil seals.....brill no more oil patches........ :lol:

Just rewmember that these engines suck oil into the air filter and leak out of the breather because of the high pressure in the engine, thought i would have no oil patches on the drive but it still comes out from under where the air filter is.
