Perkins 4236 Turbo
« on: February 25, 2006, 17:50:31 »
I've aquired a 1983 4 door Range Rover with a sweet running Perkins Turbo engine in it,the LT95 gearbox is shot and it's out of test,i can sort all the work but is it worth doing as i've never driven a Perkins Turbo off road, what are they like?

I think some engines were higher reving than others and depended on where they originated from,i know some perkins were originally tractor engines but the later ones were used in Dodge vans so were a bit more flexible.only had mine started once and don't think the rev counter works.
