OK, general enquiry -whats a swb csw 2.25 petrol worth..1980 good cond, will have 12 months mot on it
just wondering as something may be in the pipeline.
other thing is it MAY have a 2.5 petrol engine fitted, any difference ??

I'd say around the £1,500-2,000 region, with a lot depending on the condition of the vehicle.

i havent seen one with an MOT for less then a grand. i paid £350 for mine, but it was scrap nearly. :?

It might be hard to, as from a glance the 2.25 5-bearing and 2.5 look very similar.

AFAIK I think the oil filters are different, my 2.25 5 bearing engine had a longer oil filter than on my 2.5 petrol 110 HCPU it was like a blue colour that had a bolt in the bottom obviously to either empty it or take the cover off if that was what it was...correct me if I'm wrong I'm not that clued up on how to tell but I think another thing is my engine had a glass petrol filter bowl (2.25 5MB engine) and I don't think it did on the 2.5

Its not a county, the real series III counties were red or brown with horizontal stripes across the body, and usually had extra items like fog lamps, heater rear screen etc.
The vehicle above looks to be a utility model with station windows added - its probably worth about £1000 assuming it has useable MOT and Tax.
