DIY Td5 servicing

As a somewhat numpty mechanic I'm after a bit of advice...

What should be on my list for a service of my Td5 110?

Air filter (done but see my pic!)
Oil filter and rotor filter (ok...where is it)
New oil and new washer for drain plug (7 litres about right?)
Empty ashtray (check!)
Grease props (learnt this one)
Check/fill antifreeze, brake fluid (how do I check these?)
Fuel filter (hmm whereabouts is this?)

What else should be on my list?

And lastly... how much mud should there be in the air filter housing?  :?

And lastly... how much mud should there be in the air filter housing?  :?

oil-need about 8 litres ish of 5w30
fuelfilter-look in the O/s rear wheel arch,its behind the cover,
oil filter-ones under the turbo& the other is under a dish in front of the turbo

that's what I thought... am I right in thinking that the air enters the box from the left of the picture? that's offside of the landy (where the snorkel is).

I reckon I'm going to have to have a look at all the seals..

Have you sealed up the drain hole in the bottom of the air box ??

errrr not yet! It wasn't me that fitted the snorkel, never really worried before if it was sealed properly but will definately have a look tomorrow!

Where else should I be checking?

Hmm why does the td5 have two oil filters?

extended time between changes of main filter, the rotor filter acts as a primary (centrifugal force??) and filters out smaller particles than the normal filter would get.

A new and very nice feature is the use of an centrifugal oil filter beside the normal filter. This cleans the oil by centrifugal force and accumulates dirt in an disposable metal pot that must be replaced every 36.000 miles (57000 km). In this way oil and standard filter exchange intervals have been extended to 12.000 miles.

NB. This centrifugal system is not new. Old Series cars had it in their oil bath air filter.
