Defender Steering wheel raised center cap

Does anyone know were I can get the center cap from a 2001 defender steering wheel, just bought the steering wheel on ebay but was without center cap and are having major problems trying to find one? :(

Is this the flat 300Tdi/non station wagon Td5 type, or the dished Td5 Station Wagon type??? (in leather or plastic - depending on whether is a CSW or just a Station Wagon)

If it's the latter, then the cover is part number QTF100220 - but its not cheap at just over £40,  or if it's the flat Tdi type the badge is NTC8848 and is less than a fiver (from your main dealer)

If your fitting it to your Land Rover I'd imagine its the TD5 station wagon type as this has the same splines as any pre 1994 ish Defender (although a lot of 200Tdi were also fitted with the later steering wheel)

Thanks Ian, It is the Dished Type as my defender had the early splines and this was the only one that fitted.......ouch  :shock: on the price though, heres hoping sodbury comes up trumps?

They do sometimes come up on Ebay too....

Either that, or try some Land Rover breakers - www.equicar.co.uk for example... or any Land Rover breaker that strips newer stuff.
