Disco 3 tyres
« on: March 02, 2006, 17:29:50 »
Hi there,

My mates disco 3 runs 255/55R19 goodyear wranglers. And is looking to replace them.
I told him to just get the same.
But he said he has been less than impressed with the tyres offroad and in the snow! He only goes across grass feilds and slopes.

But he would like something that would cope a bit better!

they are used 90% on road.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

I'd say BFG AT but you have to watch the speed rating.

Yeah, i just ran that past him, but he doesnt want an AT, awkward [!Expletive Deleted!]!

He just wants a better road tyre!

He said his old P38 was really good offroad (for what he wanted to do), it had standard tyres on it, but he cant rememeber what they were!

Any other ideas for a road tyre that is better than the ones he has at the moment!
