Looking through those pictures makes me feel physically sick.... it is a truly sad world we live in sometimes. So completely pointless. Few of those damaged cars will be practical to save. It costs in the region of Ã‚Â£60k-Ã‚Â£80k to properly restore an E-type these days. But even that is not really the point though, is it? The guy has spent decades building the collection. It simply cannot be replaced.

It begs belief. There is no reason in the world that could explain what they have done there. I know nothing about the classics but i love looking at them and looking at the collection it looks like alot of time and money has gone into it. Yeah sure the insurance money will help financially, but nothing could ever make the owner feel better there. Its part of his life :(

Well i am as speechless as everyone else. To see such beautiful cars as the XK150 S and the E type smashed up using a MK2 and the TWR XJS is beyond comprehension to me. It woould be poetic justice for someone to find out who they are and accidently inform the owner.

i feel so sad and physically sickened. they may not be mine but like many here i have a passion for cars and in particular those that are 'a little different' or 'classic' regardless of age etc... i feel for the chap who owns these as he probley won't even have them insured for anything close to what it will cost to re-build. its not about the money, this is one mans life dream. i have to agree that if caught the courts (the police can only catch em' remember..) in this country have gone soft enough that the punishment could never make up for the crime...

That's really sad. MAny crimes I can see the criminals reason behind, to get drugs/money etc are the usual reasons but this has no reason, it's just mindless. If they were mine I'd be devostated and on a personal hunt for the morons ala terminator style :D
