Seeing the amount of banter about being in the VD club I think that perhaps it may be appropriate to re-engineer the logo a tad to make it a little more clearer.

Every time I see it now , I dont see mud , I see VD.

(scratch..scratch) thats not a club I wish to be in!!!!!

whaddya think?

Of course could go back to basics, do an off road day, get splattered up and write mud club in it on the sides and bonnet

Yeah the tail on the "U" looks better, but what about a bit more of a dark outline to the "M".

To be honest Dave I think this has been mentioned before and the situation has been discused, but the problem is there are so many logo's out there it needs to be considered very very carefully before the final go ahead is given.
I say leave it to the admin team and let them get it right.
Besides that we need to save up to pay Daz for the rebranding design, how much did BA & BT pay, maybe Daz will settle for somewhere in the middle :D  :D
10% off the top for me for my negotiation skills will be fine Darren

Yeah, it gives us all a laugh so why change it?

I personally find it quite funny, and it doesn't bother me.

I've been a member since day two of the clubs inception,
the logo has been unchanged from day one apart from a few colour changes,
I say leave it as it is,  if you don't like the Splat there is always MC-UK.

Or get an MCUK one?

That means that besides the work for Drutt rebranding the site thats a lot fo Stickers to be made for replacement, in my case, two small ones and the huge one on the wheel carrier, the one on My partners Mothers TD5 90 and my Dad's Pajero, so thats 5 already.

TBH if someone is making you feel unhappy because they are taking the mick either develop a sense of humor or take it off.

BTW No-one has commented on mine at all, everyone reads it as mud club :)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

ok, ok guys, don't have to gang up on me for having an opinion..

me, develop a sense of humour - beleive me I have one of those!

mVD club it is then

I always did prefer the MCUK ones prior to the original logo being misinterpreted.

fortunately I dont have any to replace.
