Junior trials riding
« on: March 05, 2006, 15:22:29 »
Hi All,

I've had an email asking for information on Trials riding for a young 7 year old.

They live in West Bromwich.

My days of trials riding are well and truly in the dim and distant past. Does anyone know of any contacts or clubs in the West Midlands before I point them in the general direction of the ACU?

Ta!

You normally need an ACU license to compete in any club trials, but not to join them. Best thing to do is ask other trials riders in your area where the clubs are.

My big brother used to be heavily into trials riding, used to 'passenger' on a sidecar outfit, did the manx tt trial, and european events and allsorts.   But he isn't into it anymore and he isn't in the West Brom area anyway so he couldn't help (I asked)

I do remember there being lots of adverts for clubs and events in the 'Trials and Motocross News',  that might be a good place for them to start looking.

The other place that might be able to help is 'Wheels' over by the NEC.
