I had a bit of bother with one of mine on Saturday whilst returning from Scotland.

We were on the B7076 which runs along side the M74 between Moffat and Crawford cos it's a more interesting road than the M-Way.
Probably only doing 50-55 on a long right hand bend.(Ok mabye a bit faster)
Landybabe sez "GET OFF THE WHITE LINE" but that was the tyre breaking up.
It was only a couple of hundred yards from the noise starting until i found a safe place to stop. I'm just glad the flapping tyre didn't damage the motor

Ps one new tyre is bad enough but i can't afford "5"

Don't know the size, but from the tread pattern they are BFG AT's.

I had a BFG A/T spontaneously fall off the wheel once.  It didn't shred like the one above, but was a trifle disconcerting.  The tyre place said they couldn't find anything wrong with it, and said sometimes it just happens.   :?   They even had a name for it, spontaneous loss of pressure or some such.

Just had a set fitted for around £350. Not sure of the exact price because the old bus needed some other expensive repairs too. :(
The mechanic said the old Goodyear Eagles that came off had started to distort..
