Lambing day

The school farm i go to is having a lambing day on the 2nd of April. Theres going to be a coconut shy, hopefully there will be some lambs born :roll:, craft stalls and guest the balloons in then land rover (thats if i can get the landy down there)  

anyone intrested??

i did guess the balloons in the landy and it nearly killed me blowing up just over 300 o the blooming things, just glad it wasnt a 110

oooh *shiver* lambing...

glad i dont do that anymore

out in the freezing winter with a quad bike and trailer getting about 60 sheep and their lambs in per day into the farm, one at a time...

having to make a fire in the barn just to keep warm

getting up at 4am to start the day then going back at midnight to check progress...

no thank you!

oh and those who thought dying after birth (the mums) would be fun, esp leaving a young 'un behind.. many a spring i had biiig fat lambs with a taste for chocolate living in our back garden..

memories... ;)
