what kind of tow rope weight should I be aiming to get? is 2 tonnes strong enough? here is the blurb to one I have seen at challenger 4x4. to see the pic go to www.lanerovers.co.uk and go to the challenger link at the bottom of the page.

thats the one. i couldnt get a link. the web addy bar just had lane rovers on what ever i clicked on.

what do you think then? is it strong enough?

given that the average landy is 2tonnes on its own, I'd be a bit worried about using a tow rope especially for recovery from mud etc.

need to hunt out a stronger one then but just as cheap :(

with buying a house and still trying to live money is even tighter than ever.

If anyone knows of any good tow ropes please send me the link.

thats kinetic tow ropes. I have my doubts about those on how kind they are to the landy.

I would like a solid rope as I can be towed home with it too :lol:

You'd be better of with the 8000lb (3636kg) pro comp strap.

Your car will easly out way the working load of 2000kg, even on the road.
